ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.689 of 2014.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one (i) Madan (ii) Raja (iii) Abishek and (iv) Arun for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 324, 323 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. Though the complaint was registered as early as on 09.10.2014, till date there is no progress in the investigation and final report has not been filed. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reported that he has no instructions from the respondent.

4. I heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

5. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court is constrained to pass the following order: The respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation, complete the same and file final report as early as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
