ORDER

The petitioner was removed from the post of in-charge Secretary by order dated 24.12.2014 passed by the third respondent. Having been aggrieved by the order of removal, he has preferred a statutory revision under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983 on 6.4.2015 before the first respondent. The third respondent also, opposing the revision, has filed a counter affidavit on 1.6.2015. But till date, the Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies/revisional authority, Thiruvannamalai has not disposed of the revision https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition on merits. Therefore, a direction be issued. Otherwise the petitioner would be put to grave problem, it was pleaded.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents sought six weeks time to consider the pending revision petition on merits.

3. This Court, considering the limited prayer, hereby directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 6.4.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
