This writ petition has been filed challenging the suspension proceedings dated 25.06.2016 on account of the registration of criminal case under Vigilance and Anti Corruption Act.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that the criminal case is pending and the charge sheet is yet to be filed and further the trial will take a long years, for completion and keeping the writ petitioner under suspension for a indefinite period, will not serve the purpose.
3. Though this Court, is unable to accept the contention https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
as made by the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, is of view that the writ petitioner was placed under suspension on account of the allegation, regarding receiving of bribe. Thus, the prayer sought for cannot be granted. However, it is suffice, if a direction is issued to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 18.07.2016. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 18.07.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, no order as to costs.
