This petition has been filed to direct the third respondent herein to register a First Information Report dated 27.03.2015 in Crime No.Not known/2015 on the file of the third respondent herein under the supervision of the second respondent.
2. The petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Naveenkumar stating that she is studying B.E.(C.S.E.) 2nd year in J.J. College, Tiruchirappali. The accused one Naveenkumar, S/o Arumugam, kidnapped the petitioner from the college premises on 06.02.2015 to Chennai and forcibly tied thali against her wish with the help of his father and sister. In the meantime, a complaint was lodged by the petitioner's father in Inamkulathur Police Station and the F.I.R. was registered in crime No.21/2015 for ''girl missing''. Thereafter, the petitioner's father with the help of police found the whereabouts of the petitioner and she was produced before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tiruchirapalli. The petitioner, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.
I, expressed her willingness to go with her father and the petitioner is residing peacefully along with her parents. The next day itself, the accused was making continuous phone call to the petitioner as well as her father and used filthy language against the petitioner and her family members and went to the extent of threatening the petitioner stating that he would kill her if she did not marry him. Further he was sending life threat messages in the face book and used the petitioner's photograph along with him by way of morphing. Hence, a complaint was lodged. Since no action was taken so far, the present petition has been filed.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint, C.S.R.No.99/2015 was assigned and the petition enquiry is pending.
4. Since C.S.R number was assigned, this Court directs the 3rd respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner in C.S.R.No.99/2015 and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.
5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
