Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider our representation dated 14.03.2016 with regard to issue joint patta in petitioners favour in S.No.38/2 for an extent of 6.03 acres in Alagusamuthiram Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District.

Mr. S.N. Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.
2. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself.
3.The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider their representation dated 14.03.2016 with regard to issue of joint patta in respect of the land in S.No.38/2, measuring an extent of 6.03 acres in Alagusamuthiram Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in spite of petitioners representation dated 14.03.2016 for the issuance of Joint Patta, the second respondent has not considered the same yet.
5.Mr.S.N. Parthasarathy, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
6.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 14.03.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
