PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.6.2023 within the stipulated time framed by this Court and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to correct the name of her deceased father Murugappan @ Murugan in his death certificate dated 03.1.2000 and 1/4
his legal heir certificate dated 09.7.2019 and issue the same to the petitioner.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.6.2023 for carrying out corrections in the death certificate and the legal heir certificate wherein the name of the petitioner's father has been wrongly entered as Mr.Murugesan (a) Murugan instead of Mr.Murugappan (a) Murugan.
2. Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General appears on behalf of Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice the respondents. Heard both.
3. It is seen from the records that based on the application of the petitioner, the second respondent called for a report from the third respondent. The third respondent also submitted a report dated 2/4
05.8.2023 to the second respondent. In spite of it, no further action has been taken by the second respondent, which emboldened the petitioner to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and perusing the materials placed before this Court, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 02.6.2023 do the needful within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
