Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent 4 herein to issue legal heirship certificate in consideration with the application for the legal heir certificate applied on 26.12.2016 at the respondent 4th office and consequential representation sent by the petitioners on 29.06.2017 to the Respondent 4 submitting appropriate authenticate evidential records that carries in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Revenue Administration Manual 2001.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 6. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider the representation dated 26.12.2016, wherein and whereby they sought for issuance of the legal heir certificate.
4. The grievance of the petitioners before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the fourth respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.12.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the fourth respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
