O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to renew the petitioner's Passport bearing No.H0277730 vide petitioner's Renewal Application dated 22.02.2018.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted an application on 22.02.2018, claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said application is yet to be disposed of by the respondent.

3. Mr.G.Baskaran, learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.02.2018 and pass orders in accordance with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

law.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
