Petitioner herein had lodged a complaint as against one Arumugam and Kavitha since both of them uttered humiliating communal remarks as against the petitioner. Though the said complaint had been lodged as early as on 11.10.2015 with the respondent police, no action was taken so far. Hence, seeking to register the said complaint, the petitioner is before this Court.

2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on receipt of the said complaint CSR.No.250 of 2015 had been assigned and the matter is pending enquiry.

3. Since already CSR No.250 of 2015 was assigned on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible. In the course of enquiry, if no prima facie is made out or the matter is civil in nature, he is directed to pass appropriate orders on the complaint made by the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
