PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent herein to allot a house to the petitioner at Nochi Nagar, Marine Schme wherein still houses are vacant in A,B,C,D & E Blocks.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to allot a house to the petitioner at Nochi Nagar, Marine Scheme.
2. Heard Mr.K.Venkatapathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.
3. On instructions, Mr.S.Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that if the petitioner gives a fresh representation along with the requisite documents with regard to the request for allotment of a house at Nochi Nagar, Marine Scheme, the same will be considered by the respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. For this submission, the learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. After recording the said submissions made by the respective learned counsels and for the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation along with the requisite documents to the respondent seeking for allotment of a house at Nochi Nagar, Marine Scheme, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation, the respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's request, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
5. With the aforesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
