PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to extend parole to the detenu and convict Mr.Ramachandran Kalirathinam (Prisoner No. 12082), leave for a period of two weeks in H.C.P.No. 1450 of 2020.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN,J.) The matter is heard through "Video Conferencing". 2.As the eye surgery to be conducted on 22.09.2020 could not be done due to High Blood Pressure of the convict, this petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to extend the leave granted to the detenu and convict Mr.Ramachandran Kalirathinam (Prisoner No. 12082) in H.C.P.No. 1450 of 2020 by order dated 03.09.2020 by a further period of two weeks.

As per the medical report dated 16.09.2020, the eye surgery was to be conducted on 22.09.2020. However, the same could not be 2\4

completed due to High Blood Pressure problem of the convict. Therefore, to enable him to undergo the eye surgery, the leave already granted by this Court is extended by a further period of 14 days from today. The convict Mr.Ramachandran Kalirathinam (Prisoner No. 12082) shall surrender before the prison authorities at 5.00 P.M. on 07.10.2020. The convict shall comply with the conditions imposed by this Court earlier by order dated 03.09.2020. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
