ORDER

This petition is filed praying for a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation file final report in Crime No.01 of 2014 pending on the file of respondent.

2.The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against her husband for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498(A) of IPC. Though the complaint has been registered in Crime No.01 of 2014 as early as on 20.01.2014, till date the final report has not been filed. Hence, this petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a reading of the complaint would show that the entire offence has been committed at Delhi and not here. years.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

5.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to expedite the investigation, complete the same and file final report by considering the facts and other aspects of the case, as early as possible.
