The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, to pass further order relating to handover of the vehicle to the petitioner bearing registration No.TN 05 AM 8467 Toyota Etios Car based on the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.6205 of 2015 in Crime No.479 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already the said vehicle was confiscated on 28.08.2015 by the respondent and thus sought for dismissal of the petition.

3. In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the vehicle has already been confiscated by the respondent police, nothing survives in this petition and the petition is liable to be dismissed.
