ORDER

This petition is filed praying to call for the records in Crime No.217 of 2012 dated 03.02.2012, on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai but the same was not taken on file.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, since already charge sheet has been filed, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, this Court directs the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai to take the charge sheet filed in Crime No.217 of 2012 on file. The petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court thereafter. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
