The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of the Indian Penal Code in an unregistered Crime Number.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) accepting notice for the respondent.

3. It appears that the petitioner has approached this Court even before registration of crime number.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the case is still pending enquiry in CSR.No.374 of 2024 at the behest of the de-facto complainant.

5. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court once the first information report is registered against the petitioner.
