ORDER

Heard Mr.T.Sellapandian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 16.08.2014. The petitioner had applied for starting a Small Scale Industry under the Rural Employment Scheme and his application dated 03.09.2012 for nonrefundable amount of Rs.5 lakhs for starting the said industry was accepted by the 2nd respondent through on-line and the same was forwarded to 3rd respondent, who in turn, had forwarded to the 1st respondent. As there was no further progress, the petitioner made a representation to the 1st respondent on 16.08.2014. Since no orders have been passed by the 1st respondent on the said representation, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner is before this Court.

3.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
