The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.25 of 2015 according to law, within the stipulated time.

2. The second petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against Poonchothai and 7 others stating that by forging the documents, the accused persons are trying to grab the property of the petitioners. Based on the complaint lodged by the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, the respondent registered the FIR in Crime No.25 of 2015 for the offences under sections 465, 467, 468, 471, 420 r/w.34 of IPC. But till date there is no progress in the investigation of the said case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation in Crime No.25 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as early as possible.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
