ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to directing the respondents to register the complaint dated 01.01.2015.

2. Petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Ragupathy alleging that on account of previous enmity on 31.12.2014, the said Ragupathy along with other accused threatened the petitioner and assaulted him. It is also submitted that the petitioner had taken treatment in the Government hospital, Jayamkondam. Hence, a complaint has been lodged before the respondents. Since no action was taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint, CSR.No.1/2015 was assigned and the matter is pending enquiry.

4. Since already CSR No.1/2015 was assigned on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

conduct an enquiry and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible. In the course of enquiry, if no prima facie is made out or the matter is civil in nature, he is directed to pass appropriate orders on the complaint made by the petitioner.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
