..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned circular issued by the 2nd respondent in Ref.No.24281/E1/5/2019 dated 07.05.2019 and to quash the same in so far as the counselling conducted for promotion to the post of Associate Professor in Surgical Oncology is concerned and consequently directing the Respondents to conduct promotion counselling to the post of Associate Professor in Surgical Oncology by drawing year wise panel for the year 2018 and 2019 and to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Associate Professor in Surgical Oncology on that basis. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner to withdraw the petition, this Court has granted permission to withdraw the writ petition.
