Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of writs of mandamus, directing the respondents not to interfere with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land comprised in Survey No.511/2 to an extent of 3 cents situated at Kaikalathur (West) Village, Vepanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District. Mr.R.S.Selvam, Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R As the issue involved in all these Writ Petitions is one and the same, the cases are taken up for disposal by a common order.

Petitioners are before this Court seeking a direction to the respondents not to interfere with their peaceful possession and enjoyment of their lands comprised in Survey No.511/2 situated at Kaikalathur (West) Village, Vepanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District, each measuring an extent of 3 cents. 3.
According to the petitioners, the lands in question, each measuring an extent of 3 cents, are classified as ''Grama Natham''. Since the respondents ignored the representation made by the petitioners in respect of issuance of patta for the said lands, the petitioners filed W.P.No.31960 of 2013 and this Court directed the 2nd respondent therein to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioners' representation dated 20.09.2013 on merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The grievance of the petitioners is that despite the said order of this Court, the respondents have not issued patta to them so far and they are trying to interfere with their peaceful possession of the said lands. Hence, they are once again before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Today, learned counsel for the petitioners pleaded that till the disposal of the petitioners' representation as directed by this Court, the petitioners shall not be evicted, except under due process of law.

In view of the same, this Court directs the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioners' representation dated 20.09.2013 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, in view of the order dated 18.02.2014 passed by this Court in W.P.No.31960 of 2013. It is made clear that till such time, petitioners' peaceful possession of the lands in question shall not be interfered with.
These Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.1779 to 1781 of 2017 are closed.
