With the consent of both sides of the learned counsels, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. Mrs.P.T.Ramadevi, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice 1/4

for the respondent.

3. Writ petition is filed for writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025, and pass further order.

4. The petitioner is a physically handicapped person and is running a shop near Gandhi Nagar, No.35, 1st Main Road, Adyar, Chennai, for the past 15 years without any hindrance to the public. Whileso, the petitioner was sought to be disturbed by the officials of the respondent and therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 10.02.2025, to the respondent to permit the petitioner to run the shop in the aforesaid place. As there was no response, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

5. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
