The petition has been filed seeking Succession Certificate of the securities in the name of V.Subramanian who died intestate on 26.03.2016.

2. The deceased V.Subramanian is the husband of the first petitioner and father of the second and third petitioners. The details of the share certificates have been given in the schedule to the petition. 1/4

3. After following the due procedure, the petitioners were directed to tender evidence. Accordingly, the first petitioner examined herself as P.W.1. The death certificate and legal heir certificate of V.Subramanian were marked as Exs.P1 & P2. The documents relating to the share certificates were marked as Exs.P3 to P5.

4. Taking into consideration the nature of the evidence recorded and the documents produced, this Original Petition stands allowed. and the Succession Certificate shall be issued in favour of the first petitioner, with power to collect the securities and to receive the interest and dividends thereon and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the Schedule hereunder on payment of appropriate succession duty, if not paid earlier.
