ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to transfer revenue records patta, chitta in petitioner's name in respect of the property comprised in S.No.6/1A, measuring an extent of 0.46 cents situated at Jamin Endathur, Maduranthagam Taluk, Chengalpattu District, allotted to petitioner under Section under Section 94 of Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961 Tamil Nadu Act 58/ 1961 as allotment of excess land by considering the petitioner's representations dated 15.11.2023 and 10.12.2024.

3. It was submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he was allotted property comprised in Survey No.6/1A, measuring an extent of 0.46 2/5

cents situated at Jamin Endathur, Maduranthagam Taluk, Chengalpattu District, under Section 94 of Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961, Tamil Nadu Act 58/ 1961 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"). It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that though they had made representation on 15.11.2023 and another representation on 10.12.2024 seeking mutation of revenue records in the name of the petitioner, however, the same has not been considered. Aggrieved, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents would submit that the petitioner's representations would be considered, however it may be necessary for the petitioner to demonstrate that he has complied with the requirements contained in Form-F issued in terms of Section 94 of the said Act.

In view thereof, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent, to consider the representation on its own merits and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representations dated 15.11.2023 and 10.12.2024 keeping in view any conditions that may have to be complied with after putting the petitioner and other interested parties on notice within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representations and it is open to the 3/5

concerned respondent to consider the representations on its own merits and in accordance with law.
