Mrs.M.Geetha Thamaraiselvan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, this writ petition is being disposed considering the fact that an inspection was carried out and a proposal has been sent by the second respondent for getting approval from the first respondent.
3. I am inclined to direct the Office of the first respondent, to scrutinize the proposal sent by the second respondent and sanction the Officer required for carrying out the repair of the damaged Peedam of the Statue in Arulmigu Shri Boovarahaswami Temple, Thirumuttam Village, Srimushnam, Cuddalore District.
4. This exercise shall be carried out by the Office of the first respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state, before carrying out the necessary repair of the Peedam in the aforesaid Temple, the relevant rituals may be observed in presence of Sthlasthars.
5. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
