Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.12.2016 and remove the un-authorized construction built by encroaching the public road at Krishna Street, Porur, Chennai.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's representation dated 7.12.2016 and remove the unauthorized construction built by the sixth respondent by encroaching the public road at Krishna Street, Porur, Chennai.

2. Mr.T.N.Rajagopalan, learned Government Pleader (incharge) accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent Nos.1 to 4. Mr.V.C.Selvasekaran, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the fifth respondent.

3. We direct the fourth respondent/Tahsildar to cause a local inspection of the public road at Krishna Street, Porur, Chennai, within a fortnight and if any encroachment is found, the official respondents shall take action in accordance with law after putting on notice all concerned, particularly the sixth respondent before us, and conclude the proceedings within two months.
