ORDER

Heard Mr.V.P.Karthikeyan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kandasamy, learned Special Government Pleader [HR&CE] appearing for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to number the petitioner's application dated 14.11.2014.

3.The petitioner would state that he has filed an application u/s.63-B of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act and forwarded the same by registered post on 14.11.2014. However, the same has not been numbered till date. 4.Heard the learned Special Government Pleader [HR&CE] on the above submissions. respondent and if the application is in order and maintainable, then the 1st respondent shall entertain the application, number the same and proceed in accordance with law or otherwise the 1st respondent shall return the application by passing a speaking order. The above direction shall be complied with by the 1st respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
