ORDER

(1) Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the sole respondent.

(2) The writ petition had been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction to the Tahsildar, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2021. Necessity to issue such a representation arose owing to seeking demarcation of the property, which according to the petitioner, is in his name and which is situated in S.Nos. 66/4, 66/5, 67/1, 67/2, 67/4, 67/6A and 67/3 admeasuring to extents of 1.50 acres, 1.00 acres, 2.00 acres, 67.00 acres, 8.50 acres, 40.50 acres and 70.00 acres respectively comprised in Patta No.253, at Panaiyadivakkam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.

(3) The learned counsel for the petitioner claims that the petitioner had also obtained patta and had purchased the property on 10.12.1996 by Document No.2507/1996 registered in the Office of the Sub Registrar, Chithamur.

(4) In view of the limited scope of the relief sought, a mandamus is issued to the respondent herein/Tahsildar, Cheyyur Taluk, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2021, issue notice to the petitioner, examine whether necessary fees had been paid and thereafter, take steps to dispose of the said representation and by alleviating the grievance of the petitioner. Steps to dispose of the representation to be taken within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
