ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner in order to enjoy his property.

2.When the matter came up for hearing on 06.01.2021, this Court passed the following order:

It is seen from records that a Division Bench of this Court gave liberty to the parties to approach the Commissioner of Land Administration, by an order dated 19.11.2019. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no appeal was filed and the 4th respondent is preventing the petitioner from using the pathway even though a right has been given to the petitioner to use the pathway by the Sub Collector, Pollachi and the District Collector, Coimbatore.

2.The learned counsel for the 4th respondent submitted that pursuant to the orders passed by the Division Bench, an appeal was filed before the Commissioner of Land Administration and the learned counsel wanted to take instructions in this regard. 3.Post this case under the caption 'for orders' on 27.01.2021.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 4th respondent circulated the proceedings of the Commissioner of Land Administration, dated 12.01.2021, wherein the allotment made in favour of the petitioner was cancelled and the appeal filed by the 4th respondent is allowed.

4.In view of the above development, no directions can be issued in this petition as sought for by the petitioner and accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
