Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.03.2010 together with reminders dated 08.07.2010 and 02.11.2010 sent to the 2nd respondent herein requesting to promote the petitioner as P.G.Assistant English with effect from 27.02.2009.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 19.03.2010 in respect of his claim for promotion to the post of P.G.Assistant (English) with effect from 27.02.2009. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner is fully qualified for promotion to the post of P.G.Assistant. However, her claim was not considered without any valid reason in this regard. The writ petitioner submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent on 19.03.2010 and the same is yet to be considered. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 19.03.2010 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is also directed to enclose the copy of the representation dated 19.03.2010 along with the order passed in this writ petition.
