ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) order 1982 read with Section 7(1) a(ii) of E.C. Act 1958, in Crime No.109 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 3,000kgs of PDS rice and 7,500kgs of PDS wheat. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 3,000kgs of PDS rice and 7,500kgs of PDS wheat. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration of the allegation and the quantity of PDS rice and PDS wheat involved, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
