O R D E R

Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 & 5. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal in the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 25.05.2016 filed against the order passed by the 5th respondent 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the appeal being filed on 25.05.2016, the 1st respondent has not disposed of the same yet.

4.Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 5 submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 25.05.2016 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
