ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.T.R.Sundaram, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent, on 1/4

instructions, contended that subsequent to the orders dated 30.07.2020 passed by the Employees Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal, Chennai, in EPFA No.106/2017 (ATA 1002(13)/2012), the 2nd respondent sent a communication to the Writ Petitioner on 08.01.2021 stating that the entire amount of Rs.2,38,453/- for the period 01.12.2011 to 31.08.2012 was remitted by the Writ Petitioner and that they would not be taking any coercive action pursuant to the orders passed by the Presiding Officer, Employees Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal, Chennai, on 30.07.2020.

2. Recording the said submissions made by the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent, the orders dated 30.07.2020 passed by the Employees Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal, Chennai, in EPFA No.106/2017 (ATA 1002(13)/2012), is set aside. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
