ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed by one of the prospective retail outlet dealers for the Salem District, Rural type dealership on Chinnathirupathi to Karuvalli road.
2.
The petitioner had applied under Group-1 and offered a registered Lease Deed with one Ramakrishnan in Survey No.187/5C2 of an extent of 4 cents for a period of 20 years. Upon field verification, it has been found that the said site offered by the petitioner did not fall under the advertised sketch of Chinnathirupathi to Karuvalli. Hence, as per the procedure, the candidature of the petitioner was restricted to Category-3 and the same was intimated through an e-mail dated 27.08.2020, which is impugned now.
3.
The further grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent did not qualify under Group-I, but, however he has been selected vide notification dated 25.11.2020, which has been published in the website.
4.Now, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, as the petitioner is eligible to compete in Group-1, he satisfied with the same and he would compete for the dealership under Group-1.
5.
The learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 is directed to verify the eligibility criteria of the third respondent, as the petitioner has raised his doubt about his candidature also.
6. As the petitioner has expressed his satisfaction for calling dealership under Group-1 as per the procedure, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS II) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar
