The present petition has been filed to direct the respondent police, the Inspector of Police, Pallipalayam Police Station, Namakkal District herein, not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint as against one Subramaniam, and on completion of enquiry, the FIR has been registered in Crime No.579/2015 for the offence under sections 294(b), 506(ii) IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST Act on the complaint given by the petitioner and the respondent police is not harassing the petitioner and they have no intention to harass the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Since already the case has been registered on the complaint given by the petitioner, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the criminal original petition stands dismissed.
