(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner's husband Syed Nawaz S/o Syed Imam (Convict No.8480) is undergoing conviction and sentence in a case arising under POCSO Act. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the respondents to grant 30 days ordinary leave without escort to the convict.

3. The matter was adjourned to enable the respondents to take instructions if the petitioner is eligible. It is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner is eligible for 15 days leave. The Probation Officer's report is also in favour of the convict.

3. Taking into account all these aspects, we direct the first respondent to grant 15 days ordinary leave to the petitioner's husband. Escort need not be provided. The convict is directed to surrender on the expiry of the 15th day. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
