ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioners in Crime No. not known of 2015 pending on her file.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that based on the complaint given by the wife of the first petitioner, the respondent police is frequently calling them and harassing them under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the wife of the first petitioner as against the petitioners, an enquiry was conducted and after enquiry, the said complaint has been registered in Crime No.9 of 2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498 (A) and 406 I.P.C.

4. Since already a case has been registered on the complaint given by the wife of the first petitioner as against the petitioners, this Court cannot entertain the petition.

5. In fine, the present criminal original petition is dismissed.
