ORDER

The writ petition is filed challenging the Refusal Check Slip dated 14.03.2025, issued by the respondent, refusing to register the Settlement Deed dated 14.03.2025.

Mr.U.Bharanidharan, the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the sole respondent, would submit that the issue is covered by the Circular in Lr.No.44420/C1/2024, dated 28.04.2025 issued by the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, and in view of the same, the document will be entertained.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands allowed. The petitioner is directed to re-present the document to the respondent for registration and on receipt of the same, the respondent shall register the same taking into consideration the Circular as stated above. There shall be no order as to costs.
