ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report concerned in Crime No.415 of 2015 as early as possible.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Baby and two others and the same was registered in Crime No.415 of 2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 420 and 506(ii) I.P.C. and sections 3 and 4 of Prize Chit and Money Circulation Scheme Banning Act, 1978 and 4 of T.N.Prize Chit Scheme Act 1979. Though the said complaint was registered on 5.8.2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.415 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
