O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to issue direction directing the Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram, Chennai to dispose of CC.No.7 of 2012 within a period of time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The respondent police filed complaint against the petitioners and the same was taken cognizance by the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram, Chennai in CC.No.7 of 2012. However, the same has not been in progress. Hence, the petitioners filed this petition.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram, Chennai, is directed to complete the Trial in CC.No.7 of 2012, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
