Based on the alleged possession for a long number of years, the petitioner made a representation for issuance of patta, for an extent of 0.8 cents in survey No.64/1A, Kattadevathur Village, Madurantagam Taluk, Kancheepuram District. As no orders have been passed, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation, direction is issued to the respondents to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner and any third party, if necessary.
