Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to restore the patta in the name of petitioner's mother Konnammal in respect of the properties situated at Thathanayakanpatti Village, Nallampalli Taluk, Dharmapuri District comprised in Survey Nos.670/2, 670/3, 671/A1, 671/A2, 676/10c, 676/2c after conducting due enquiry. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

2. The petitioner seeks restoration of patta standing in the name of his mother, Konnammal. The petitioner's compliant was enquired into by the 2nd respondent, the District Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri District. The learned Additional Government Pleader informs the Court that final order will be passed shortly, in any event, within four weeks.

3. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
