O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to 2nd respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 29.09.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one R.Arumugam, R.Munusamy, Sugumaran, T.N.Gajendran, T.N.Rajendran, T.N.Manokaran and Anandan stating that they have cheated the petitioner by giving forgery DTCP Approval. When the petitioner approached the Panchayat Board President for earmarking of the property, he came to know that he was cheated by the above said persons. Hence, the petitioner has given a complaint on 29.09.2015. But the said complaint has not been registered so far. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint is pending with the second respondent for enquiry.

5. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 29.09.2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the 2nd respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
