By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner states that she belongs to the Most Backward Community family consists of her husband and two female children as well
as her father, who is physically challenged. She and her husband are eking out their livelihood through agriculture. The petitioner would further state that her mother was working as an Assistant to Cook at T.Panchalam Parvathi Middle School, which comes under the control of the third respondent. Her mother was working for more than 23 years and she died on 21.09.2003 due to sudden illness. At that time, the petitioner was a minor girl and consequently, she was not in a position to apply for compassionate appointment and only on 31.7.2015, she submitted her application seeking compassionate appointment with all particulars. It is stated that she has also attended the interview on 20.08.2015 and the result of her selection is yet to be made. In this regard, she has also made a representation dated 14.09.2015 to the first respondent. Since no orders have been passed, the petitioner came forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the same, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the third respondent by enclosing a copy of this order and a copy of the earlier representation dated 14.9.2015 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
