Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the light of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of G.Mohan Rao and Others Vs. State of Tamil Nadu and Others reported in (2022) 12 SCC 696, nothing survives for Pg.Nos.2/5

adjudication in this Writ Petition and seeks permission to withdraw the Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
