PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Criminal Procedure Code seeking to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners and/or their family members.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the petitioners are arrayed as accused in Crime No.2 of 2023 and the investigation is pending before the respondent police.
4. Under such circumstances, once the regular first information report has been registered, the question of "not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
5.
