Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2018 to accord ''No Objection Certificate'' to the petitioner Society so as to obtain affiliation from Pondicherry University.

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 03.11.2018, wherein the petitioner has sought for a 'No Objection Certificate' in order to obtain affiliation from the Pondicherry University.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 05.11.2020, Mr.A.V.Ramalingam, learned Additional Government Pleader took notice on behalf of the second respondent and sought for time to take instructions. When the matter was taken up today, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the representation made by the petitioner was rejected by the second respondent by proceedings dated 11.12.2018.

3. In view of the above submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. If the petitioner Institution is aggrieved by the rejection order passed by the second respondent, it is left open to them to work out their remedy in accordance with law.
