This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2015.

ORDER

The petitioner made a request dated 17.06.2015 to the 2nd respondent seeking permission to put up a bunk shop opposite to No. 88, Government Quarters, 60 Feet Road, Thiruvalluvar Road, Mugappiar East, Chennai, on the ground that he is physically challenged. As the said representation is still pending consideration, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent Nos. 1 and 3 and the learned counsel for the respondent No. 2.

3. Considering the above facts and without going into the merits of the case and taking note of the pendency of the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2015, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent No. 2 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2015, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
