The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to measure and survey his properties comprised in Thirukkazhukundram Village Old No.29/1B1A, New No.29/10 measuring about 5 cents and Old No.29/1B1A, New S.No.29/12 measuring about 1.5 cents, 726 3⁄4 S.Q. feet and to grant Patta in his favour, as per the representation dated 07.09.2016. 2.
According to the petitioner, he purchased the vacant house site measuring about five cents at Thirukkazhukkundram Village in Old S.No.29/1B1A, New S.No.29/10 under the registered sale deed dated 20.02.2004. He applied to the respondent for grant of patta. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 07.09.2016 seeking grant of patta. Pending consideration of the same, having no other alternative remedy, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2016 seeking issuance of patta, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
