O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to pass orders in respect of the order passed by the Principal Accountant General dated 09.01.2020, E52/3/15200756/ADK and that of the memo sent by the Divisional Engineer (Construction and Maintenance) Highways Department, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Tindivanam Road, Tiruvannamalai District No.1425/2019.M2 dated 28.02.2020.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.V.Kathirvelu, learned Special Government Pleader appeared on behalf of the respondents and submitted that in regard to the grievance projected in the writ petition, viz., the pensionary benefits payable to the petitioner, the Government has already forwarded a proposal vide proceedings dated 30.10.2020, to the competent authority of the Accountant General Office.

3. In view of the forwarding of the proposal by the Government, nothing survives for further consideration in this writ petition. It is open to the petitioner to approach the Accountant General Office for earlier disposal of the proceedings dated 30.10.2020.

4. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
