The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to register the case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 25.11.2015 in CSR No.261/2015 on the file Inspector of Police, Adayar, Chennai and investigate the case in this regard as per the provisions of Section 154 of Cr.PC.

2. The petitioner submitted that he has preferred a complaint before the respondent police on 25.11.2015 against one Pandiarajan. Though C.S.R.No.261 of 2015 has been assigned on his complaint, till date no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the enquiry is pending with the respondent police. On receipt of the complaint of the petitioner in C.S.R.No.261 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 25.11.2015 given by the petitioner in C.S.R.No.261 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible.
